Obama decides he was kidding about taking Public Financing.

Barack Obama despite saying he would take public financing if his opponet did has decided not to take Public Financing. Despite the fact John McCain has kept his word and taken the public money. Of course now Obama says the system is broken. Amazing how the system broke just when it was time for him to use it.

    Oh, come on. You're more politically savvy than this. McCain's taking public financing because his fundraising totals are weak compared to Bush in 2004. Obama is not taking public financing because he can drastically out raise McCain, and therefore expand his campaign into red states, forcing McCain to spend time in money in historically safe states.

    Besides, Obama's money comes overwhelmingly from ordinary Americans contributing $200 or less. The only one "buying" Obama's vote is the American public.

    Where's McCain's money coming from?
