What is wrong with these people? An article in Gawker.com post pictures and private e-mail exchanges from the account. It doesn't look like there is anything that will do damage to the McCain campaign in the e-mails. I'm sure CNN and NBC are heartbroken. The McCain campaign issued a statement saying, "This is a shocking invasion of the Governor's privacy and a violation of law, the matter has been turned over to the appropriate authorities and we hope that anyone in possession of these emails will destroy them. We will have no further comment." The statement was made by McCain campaign manager Rick Davis.
Screen shots of the e-mails were posted on Gawker.com. A message posted on Gawker.com said, "Here are the screenshots of the emails saved before the account went dark, along with the contact list. It’s newsworthy and we will not be taking it down!" the site declares.
They are now complaining that Palin has deleted the e-mail address. "Gawker complained that Palin has since “deleted” the account, and suggested she was trying to “destroy evidence.”
The FBI has started an investigation into the matter. They will be working with the Secret Service. I hope whoever did this has a good lawyer
O.K. people this is just getting ridiculous now. We get it you don't like Sarah Palin. To be fair you hate all Republicans. We get it. However this only hurts your cause. The more stupid and crazy things you do the better for us. So please keep saying McCain's not a war hero, make fun of him because he can't type due to his war injuries, harass a pregant teenage girl, Say that Sarah Palin's down syndome baby isn't hers. Media people please keep making fun of McCain for being old, Calling Sarah Palin an idiot every chance you get. Asking her questions that you can't even explain then saying she didn't understand what you meant. Finally please, please continue your sexist comments about her having too many children to be Vice President. We'll just continue moving up in the polls and win the election in November.

Glad to see your blog is gettting good reviews, but in this particular case -- and let me say I don't approve of hacking into anyone's email account -- but Sarah Palin conducted office government business from her personal email account, thus trying to avoid any accountability.
ReplyDeleteShe's free to hide her personal email messages, but there is certainly a clear suspicion here that she was doing this in order to prevent her from having to disclose certain information that should be public knowledge by transmitting that information via a personal account.
C'mon, she was looking for loophole. I don't agree with the hacking of her account, but it's also unfair to pretend that she is without blame here.
